Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know my system is being monitored?
Your system can be programmed to send an automatic test signal to our Central station monthly. You will be notified in the event that the signal is not received. You may also contact our customer service representatives anytime by phone at 215-494-0160 and ask how to send a manual test signal.
Will my security work if the power goes out?
Your security system is equipped with a battery backup system that should stay active between 12 and 24 hours
What if I need to replace my windows or doors?
We recommend you contact one of our customer Service representatives and schedule a technician to remove any hardware before construction and again after to properly reconnect your system.
What if I already have a security system for my home or business installed, can I activate it through One Call Alarm for monitoring?
Absolutely! It does not matter what company installed your current system, our installation team will update and connect it to our state of the art 24/7 central monitoring station. Call us at #215-494-0160 to start the easy process.
Can I receive an insurance discount through my homeowners insurance policy?
Yes! Most insurance providers offer discounts on their policies if your home or business has a monitoring security system. Give us a call at #215-494-0160 and we will help guide you through the steps you need to take.
My alarm is showing a communication Failure. What does this mean?
A communication failure is most commonly caused by an electrical outage or outage of your communication provider (example: phone line, internet, or cellular). In the event of an electrical or communication provider outage, this failure should resolve itself when your services are restored. If your communication failure persists please call us at 215-494-0160 to troubleshoot further.
I set off my alarm, I entered my code to disarm. Why didn’t you call after?
When there’s an accidental activation of your system and you enter your code, we automatically get a cancel signal that helps prevent false alarms. When a cancel signal is received, no call will be placed to your location since a valid code was entered into the panel.
When is payment due
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice
What if a burglar forces me to disarm my security system?
Ambush codes are meant to be used when you’re forced to disarm your system by (an) intruder. By entering this code into your panel it disarms the system normally while also sending an ambush signal to our monitoring station. Upon receiving this signal, we’ll immediately dispatch the police to the site.
